Bali Ready for World Water Forum: Chief Fadil Imran

Inp.polri.go.id - Denpasar.  Commissioner General Mohammad Fadil Imran, the Indonesian National Police (INP)’s Head of the Security Maintenance Agency, confirmed on Wednesday (1/5/2024)the preparation of key locations for the 10th World Water Forum in Nusa Dua, Bali.

Accompanied by Bali Regional Police Chief Inspector General Ida Bagus Kade Putra Narendra, Chief Imran inspected venues like the Bali Nusa Dua Convention Centre (BNDCC), Bali International Convention Centre (BICC), Bali Nusa Dua Hotel, and the Kura-Kura Bali Special Economic Zone (SEZ), which will double as a nature conservation area. 

He stressed the need for police to conduct thorough checks to ensure security preparation in the venues. 

Preparations for the forum, addressing water conservation, sanitation, food security, and disaster mitigation, are nearly complete, according to antaranews.com. 

Thousands of security personnel will ensure security during the conference from 18-25 May 2024, with 244 sessions expected to yield actionable outcomes.
