Inp.polri.go.id - Sukabumi. The Bogor-Ciawi-Sukabumi (Bocimi) Toll Road, connecting Cigombong and Cibadak in Sukabumi, West Java, will resume operations on Tuesday, after being closed for seven months due to a landslide at Km 64 on 3 April 2024.

“We’ve received confirmation from PT Trans Jabar Toll that the road will reopen. We are fully prepared, especially with traffic safety measures in place,” said Sukabumi Sub-regional Police Chief of Traffic, Assistant Inspector Fiekry Adi Perdana, on Monday (23/9/2024).

Traffic police will also be deployed at toll entrances and exits to manage any potential traffic surges, he added.

The reopening is highly anticipated, as the toll road cuts travel time between Sukabumi and Bogor to 45 minutes, significantly faster than the three-hour journey on the main route.

The road had been closed since the landslide, with vehicles rerouted through Cigombong Toll Gate.
