inp.polri.go.id -  The National Police personnel who dispatched to secure the G20 Summit is asked to prevent any disturbances in the event to ensure the success of the international event that will be attended by world leaders. Those are the words conveyed by the Deputy Police Chief of the Indonesian National Police after officially opened the Puri Agung Operation in Denpasar, Thursday (11/3). "Of course they must know the potential disturbances that may occur in the area where they are assigned later," said the Deputy Chief of Police, as reported by ntmcpolri.info, Thursday (11/3). The Commissioner General Gatot Eddy Pramono said that the pre-operation training that will be held for three days is aimed to enhance the capabilities of personnel in securing the G20 Summit to ensure that they would understand their respective duties in the field. “Then on how to act, and what to do during, ahead, and post G20. This is important, especially in this operation we are collaborating with other insitutions such as the Indonesian Army, the Ministries, Regional Government, and the community. So, we have to really prepare our strategies and efforts in preventing any disturbances that might occur,” said Commissioner General Gatot Eddy Pramono. He hoped that the preparation is well prepared so that any potential disturbances can be prevented, or at the very least is suppressed. All of this efforts is to ensure the success of G20 Bali, either the side events or the main events in 15-16 November. In this effort, the police had deployed more than 9,700 personnel, consisted of Bali Police, West Nusa Tenggara, East Java Police to ensure the security of G20 Summit.
