Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Vice President (VP) Ma'ruf Amin asserted his commitment to remain neutral in responding to the dynamics of the 2024 Elections. "Since the outset, I've committed to neutrality, refraining from favoring any specific candidate," he affirmed  on Thursday (1/25/24). VP Ma'ruf Amin keeps his vote confidential, planning to disclose it on February 14, emphasizing its privacy until voting day. Responding to President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo's endorsement of a president taking sides in campaigns, he acknowledged it's allowed by the rules. "I find the President's statement clear. It is permissible by the rules, subject to public judgment - some may disagree, some may agree," he said. While acknowledging differing opinions on President Jokowi's statement violating political ethics, he clarified, "However, it doesn't indicate a difference with the President.
