inp.polri.go.id - Mataram. The Regional Military Commander of Wira Bhakti/162, Brigadier General Agus Bhakti supports the effort of the police in investigating the motive behind the riot in the gold mining area in the Sekotong region, West Lombok Regency.

“We definitely support the police and will work together to seek the root cause,” said the Commander, Brigadier General Agus Bhakti on Tuesday (8/13/2024).

He says coordination with the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum to find the solution of the issue continues to be carried out.

So far, Agus and his party still cannot find any concrete information regarding the incident that occurred on Saturday (8/10/2024) night. The incident has caused the camp or temporary housing for miners to be burned down.

“According to our report, we have no suspicion towards anyone, as we are still working on it with the police,” said Agus.
