inp.polri.go.id - Banda Aceh. The Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP) has deployed 77 auditors to oversee the accountability of the governance of the 21st Aceh-North Sumatra National Sports Week (PON) in 2024.

The total number of central and representative BPKP auditors deployed was 77 people in Aceh and North Sumatra, consisting of 14 central BPKP auditors, 41 BPKP Aceh Representatives, and 22 BPKP North Sumatra Provincial Representatives.

Deputy Head of BPKP for Supervision of Government Agencies in the Field of Politics, Law, Security, Human Development and Culture (Polhukam PMK) Iwan Taufiq Purwanto hopes that the implementation of PON XXI Aceh-North Sumatra 2024 can achieve the successes in its four main pillars, namely achievement, implementation, economy, and administrative success.

“One more thing is the preservation and maintenance of PON assets,” says Iwan.

Previously, President Joko Widodo said PON is an event to produce more of the nation's best athletes, world record breakers, potential gold medal winners at the Asian Games, SEA Games, and even the Olympics.

The President invited all participants to make PON an event to strengthen unity and boost sportsmanship values.
