inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Hadi Tjahjanto instructs all ministries and institutions, particularly those involved in election coordination desk, to put aside their sectoral ego in monitoring 2024 Regional Head Election.

“We have to convey this again and again as there is still a sectoral ego involved. We want this to be completely put aside,” says Minister Hadi on Wednesday (10/2/2024).

In his statement, he states that people would be the ones who pay for their ego. Thus, the issue of sectoral ego between ministries and institutions must be squashed away.

In monitoring the 2024 Regional Head Election, Coordinating Minister Hadi says that his party has assured synergy between ministries and institutions.

“Our difference would be only in uniforms. Our goal remains the same which is to make sure that the election goes smoothly,” says Coordinating Minister Hadi.

The 2024 Regional Head Election campaign period has started since September 25 and is scheduled to end on November 23, 2024. After that, it will enter a quiet period on November 24-26 and voting on November 27, 2024.

Furthermore, the vote counting and recapitulation of the vote counting results will be carried out on November 27-December 16, 2024.
