inp.polri.go.id - Banjarbaru. The Food Task Force of South Kalimantan Regional Police Special Criminal Investigation Directorate accompanied the Agriculture Minister Andi Amran Sulaiman in his inspection on basic necessities available and price in the market.

This activity was carried out as an effort to ensure the stability of prices and quality of food products in the community by visiting the Cheap Food Market located at the Banjarbaru Post Office on Tuesday (3/18/2025).

The main focus of this inspection is MinyaKita cooking oil, which is one of the strategic food products. The Food Task Force Team verified the packaging, measurements, and prices that apply in the market. This is done to ensure that there are no hoarding practices, manipulation of measurements, or sales above the highest retail price (HET) set by the government.

Minister of Agriculture Andi Amran Sulaiman expressed his appreciation for the good cooperation between the Food Task Force and related parties in maintaining food stability.

"We want to ensure that the public has access to basic ingredients at affordable prices and guaranteed quality. This inspection also aims to prevent any party from taking advantage of the others," said Andi Amran Sulaiman.

Head of Public Relations of the South Kalimantan Regional Police, Senior Superintendent Adam Erwindi, emphasized his party's commitment to continue to monitor the distribution of food supplies in the region.

"We will continue to carry out strict supervision and take firm action against perpetrators who violate the rules. The South Kalimantan Regional Police Food Task Force is ready to support the government in maintaining national food security," said Adam Erwindi firmly.
