inp.polri.go.id - Bandung. The Sub-regional Police of Cimahi has launched an investigation after finding a human corpse, allegedly to be a mother and her children, at an empty building in Tanimulya Village.

The Head of Cimahi Sub-regional Police, Superintendent Tri Suhartanto says that his party and Sartika Asih Hospital Forensic Team have examined the location.

“We have examined the criminal location where two corpses were found,” said Tri in West Bandung on July 30th, 2024.

According to the location examination, police have also secured various evidence to reveal the truth behind the case.

“We will examine the evidence that we have found as clues to find the truth. To see whether there are criminal elements or not behind this finding,” continued Tri.

Tri said that his party is still unable to determine the cause of the death as the autopsy process is still ongoing.

However, the authorities are able to identify the identity of the corpses. The mother is Indah Hayati (55) and the son is Elia Imanuel Putra (24). Both were found dead by Mudjoyo Tjandra, the husband of Indah and father of Elia.

As of now, police have examined Mudjoyo as the prime witness behind the death of his family.

"According to him, they separated, but not divorced, and he was indeed already out of the house since 2015," explained Tri.

Previously, Padalarang Sector Police Chief, Police Senior Inspector Kusmawan received a report of the two corpse finding on Monday, July 29th, 2024.

Police immediately dispatched their unit to the location and found two corpses lying on different beds.
