The Chief of UN Police (UNPOL) Faisal Shahkar conveyed his appreciation to the Indonesian National Police (INP) members involved in UN peacekeeping missions during the Assessment and Advisory Visit (AAV) held at the INP International Mission Center in Serpong, Tangerang, Banten, on Tuesday (6/6/23).

He underscored the exceptionalism of the INP's peacekeeping forces, highlighting how their distinctiveness has earned recognition and acknowledgment.

"Indonesia is recognized by the UN for the significant role played by its UN peacekeeping forces," he stated.

He provided further details on the AAV, highlighting that it encompasses diverse activities, including workshops, which are not limited to Indonesia but also to other nations engaged in peacekeeping missions.

"This holds great significance for Indonesia," he said.

The workshop is in line with one of the 10 "Quick Wins Presisi" Programs sparheaded by Vice Chief of the INP Commissioner General Gatot Eddy Pramono, that aims to enhance cooperation with external entities, showcasing the INP's dedication to fostering collaborative initiatives.
