Inp.polri.go.id - Denpasar. As many as 440 electric cars arrived at Denpasar's Benoa Port for the 10th World Water Forum on Wednesday (8/5/2024).
PT Pelindo (Persero) Sub Regional Bali and Nusa Tenggara facilitated the delivery for the event in Nusa Dua, Bali, scheduled from 18 to May, 2024.
"This showcases our commitment to the 10th World Water Forum," said Fariz Hariyoso, the Head of PT Pelindo Sub Regional Bali and Nusa Tenggara.
The cars, from various global automotive brands, were transported by the Aishakamilah Motor Ship from Jakarta's Tanjung Priok Port to Benoa.
After docking on Tuesday, unloading lasted until Wednesday. Each electric vehicle underwent inspection before being parked in Denpasar's Benoa Port and later moved to the forum's venue in Nusa Dua.
The forum, themed "Water for Shared Prosperity," will host 35,000 delegates from 193 countries. It will cover key topics like water resilience, disaster management, governance, and sustainable financing.
