Inp.polri.go.id - Denpasar. Ten hotels in Bali's Nusa Dua area are set to host VIP and VVIP guests attending the 10th World Water Forum from 18 to 25 May 2024. 

General Manager of the Indonesia Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC), I Made Agus Dwiatmika, confirmed on Wednesday (8/5/2024) seven hotels for VVIPs and three for VIPs and delegates.

These hotels have been enhancing facilities and security systems, including scanners and security doors. 

Nusa Dua boasts around 5,485 rooms across 22 five-star hotels and luxury villas, with meeting facilities for 21,000 delegates.

The Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center (BNDCC) and Bali International Convention Center (BICC) will serve as main venues. BICC will host heads of state meetings on 20 and 21 May 2024, followed by joint and bilateral meetings.

Exhibitions will open from May 20 to 25, 2024, while a cultural parade is scheduled on 20 May 2024. 

Dwiatmika said that ITDC has established a command center equipped with modern facilities to ensure efficient security and coordination during the 10th World Water Forum.

The facility includes integrated CCTV cameras, television monitors, integrated communication radios, and information systems linked with the Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) and the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) for early warning systems for tsunamis, earthquakes, and extreme weather.

In addition, ITDC's security unit, reinforced with K9 tracker dogs, firefighting units, and patrols, will be deployed in the area.
