Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform Abdullah Azwar Anas visited Telkom University in Bandung, West Java, to explore advanced technologies, including face recognition, to safeguard civil service exam integrity on Monday (22/4/2024).

He emphasized the importance of leveraging technology to enhance transparency and fairness in civil service selection.

Proctoring, a method using face recognition for exam supervision, was discussed to prevent cheating by verifying candidates' identities through webcams, according to antaranews.com.

Minister Azwar Anas highlighted the need to adapt to the digital era's challenges and integrate innovative solutions into civil service recruitment processes.

He reaffirmed the ministry's commitment to upholding fairness and integrity in civil service recruitment, leveraging technology to foster public trust and accountability.

Ongoing collaboration between government agencies, academic institutions, and technology providers was crucial for developing robust solutions to modernize civil service recruitment and assessment processes, Minister Anas said.
