Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning of the Republic of Indonesia, Nusron Wahid, said that the government has prepared around 3,100 hectares of land in North Penajam Paser, East Kalimantan, to support the infrastructure of the Nusantara Capital City (IKN). He said that the land is outside the IKN area.
“For the areas outside IKN, its buffer areas, are still within our rights and authority, and we decided to use it for IKN development. The land would be provided for the needs of IKN development such as maybe the construction of airport and others,” says Nusron on Thursday (10/31/2024).
In his statement, he says that the 3,100 hectares of land are managed by Land Bank to be used for IKN facilities and infrastructure.
"I leave it to the Land Bank to support the logistical interests of IKN," he explained.
