Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. The Minister of Communication and Informatics Budi Arie Setiadi says that the integrated task force formed by the Central Government to eradicate online gambling has three steps in its duty.

“In its combat against online gambling, the task force have three steps in its approach, which is comprehensive, integral, and holistic,” says Budi in his office on Friday.

Budi says the president has entrusted the war against online gambling effort to the Coordinating Minister for Political, Defense and Security Affairs Hadi Tjahjanto to lead the integrated task force.

Meanwhile, the war against online gambling in the Ministry of Communication and Informatics will be handled by the Directorate General of Information Applications (Aptika).

Previously, on Thursday (4/18/2024), it was reported that in one week the government is trying to form an integrated task force to combat online gambling.

According to Minister Budi, the formation of the task force aimed to completely resolve online gambling in a more structured way with a tighter coordination between the ministries and institutions involved.
