Inp.polri.go.id – West Kalimantan. The Drug Investigation Directorate of West Kalimantan Regional Police destroyed 15 kilograms of meth from Malaysia.

“The termination of this evidence demonstrates our success in drug eradication efforts by our party in preventing these illicit items circulating in West Kalimantan,” said the Vice Head of West Kalimantan, Brigadier General Roma Hutajulu.

He then explains that the 15 kilograms of meth from Malaysia can be valued up billions of rupiah. Fortunately the smuggling was able to be thwarted by the police in Khatulistiwa Street, Pontianak City in March.

Roma said that the suspect, the drug courier with the initials of ON, was offered IDR 135 million by RD to smuggle the drug from Malaysia. Interested with the offer, ON accepted the job and brought the 15 kilogram of meth with a gray backpack.

“Other than arresting ON as the courier, police also develop the case to catch the drug kingpin allegedly from Malaysia,” said Roma. In his closing statement, the vice head of West Kalimantan Regional Police stressed that his party is intensifying their effort in eradicating drug flow.
