inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Traffic Corps Inspector General Aan Suhanan stressed there is no special treatment or service for special vehicle plate numbers, including the ZZP and ZZH plate numbers.

“This special plate number did not have any privilege, did not have any priorities. When there are odd-even policies, this plate number still has to comply with the rules. There are no priorities for them to be given free road access,” said Aan.

This was conveyed by Aan during a focus group discussion held by the National Police Commission with the theme of “Implementation of Law Number 22 of 2009 concerning Road Traffic and Transportation”

Aan reminds all vehicles that have the special plate number that they did not possess any kind of privileges on the road.

“They do not have any privileges. The only difference between them and the others is only in the number,” remarks Aan.

The INP Traffic Corps stressed that the traffic law compliance has been regulated in the Article 134 of the Road Traffic and Transportation Law (UU LLAJ). One of them is the priority of ambulances and firefighters.

“Road priority has been regulated in the law, such as towards firefighters and ambulances,” concludes Aan.
