Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo has issued Presidential regulation No 19/2024 on the distribution of mining permits to religious organizations,, allowing religious groups to obtain mining licenses, provided they meet specific criteria set forth by the government. 

Signed by Monday, the regulation stipulates that religious organizations must demonstrate their capability to manage mining operations responsibly. They are also required to submit detailed plans for environmental conservation and community development.
