inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. National Counter-Terrorism Agency (BNPT RI) says the three pillars of village/district government (village development officials, village security officials, and village chief) must be keen and quick with the activity and changes in the village.

According to the Skill Development Director of BNPT, Wawan Ridwan, the ways of spreading radicalism continue to spread and target vulnerable groups such as women, children, and teenagers.

“The ways of spreading radicalism continue to change so it is necessary for us to provide them with the proper knowledge to detect and prevent the potential radicalism spread in the village,” explains Wawan on Friday (7/26/2024).

Therefore, as of now, BNPT is now intensifying their training to the village government pillars and strengthening coordination and collaboration between them to maintain public security and order.

He stressed that the effort in preventing terrorism must be conducted thoroughly so that prevention efforts could be held optimally.

“The effort in preventing terrorism cannot be conducted by only one institution. Therefore, we have to work together,” said Director Wawan.
