Inp.polri.go.id - Batang. Central Java Regional Police Chief Inspector General Ahmad Lutfhi has called on the public to maintain harmony and avoid conflicts during the 2024 regional elections.
"Please ensure there are no conflicts among the community. We must remain united because, regardless of who the leader is, they are the best candidates to improve Central Java," he said during a visit to PT Sukorintek in Batang on Thursday (25/7/2026).
He emphasized that differing opinions are normal in democratic processes and urged mutual respect for varying choices.
"Conflicts should not arise merely due to differing choices," Chief Luthfi said, as quoted by antaranews.com.
He encouraged the community to contribute to a secure environment during the elections to support economic activities and business operations.
"Security and harmony are essential for a thriving economy, and this can be achieved through collaboration between the police and the public, including employees at PT Sukorintek," Chief Luthfi added.
